                                  ケーブルのスプライス
D.1 手順
  ケーブルのスプライスは,導体コネクタ,絶縁材,ケーブルシース並びに該当する場合には,がい装及
びシールドから構成される。ケーブルのスプライス部では,導体,がい装又は遮へいにおける電気的導通
を確保しなければならない。スプライスは,次のように行う。
  導体は,圧縮形突合せコネクタで接合する。1回で圧縮できる工具と適切な金型を使用する。導体サイ
ズが6 mm2以上の場合,導体止め具付きのバレル突合せロングコネクタを使用する。
  多心ケーブルのスプライス部は,各導体のコネクタが隣接する導体のコネクタと接触しないように千鳥
に配置する。導体の絶縁は,コネクタの取付けに必要な量以上は(剥)がさない。
  絶縁材は,ケーブルの絶縁材と同一又はそれ以上の厚さのもので,ケーブル絶縁体の熱・電気特性と同
一又はより優れたものを使用する。
  遮へいケーブルについては,スプライス部にも遮へい材を施す。構成材は,適切な電気的接触の発生に
必要な圧力以上の圧力が加わらないように固定する。遮へいケーブルは,シールド材とケーブル遮へい材
を13 mm以上重ね合わせる。
  シース材は,ケーブルシースと同一又は同等の物性をもつものを使用する。シースをスプライス部の中
心に置き,既存のケーブルシースに51 mm以上重ね合わせる。シース材は既存のケーブルシースと水密性
を確保するよう施す。
  ケーブルがい装の電気的導通は,維持されなければならない。素線若しくは編組,又はケーブルと同一
材料のがい装をジャンパとして取り付ける。
  がい装上の防食層付きケーブルには,被覆を施す。
