まえがき

  この規格は,工業標準化法に基づいて,日本工業標準調査会の審議を経て,通商産業大臣が制定した日
本工業規格である。
  今回の制定では,国際規格に整合させるため,ISO 4582 : 1998を基礎として用いた。
  JIS K 7362 : 1999には,次に示す附属書がある。
    附属書A(規定) 平均と標準偏差を求める統計的方法及び特性値の50%低下到達時間を求める手順
                      (ISO 2602による)
    附属書B(参考) 試験片表面のクリーニングが暴露結果の評価に及ぼすことがある影響

序文 この規格は,1998年に第2版として発行されたISO 4582, Plastics−Determination of changes in colour
and variations in properties after exposure to daylight under glass, natural weathering or laboratory light sourcesを
元に作成した日本工業規格(日本産業規格)であるが,対応国際規格にはない項目を追加した。
なお,この規格で点線の下線を施してある箇所は,対応国際規格にはない事項である。
1. 適用範囲 この規格は,アンダーグラス屋外暴露,直接屋外暴露又は実験室光源による暴露を受けた
プラスチックの色及びその他の外観特性の変化,並びに機械的又はその他の特性変化の測定に用いる手順
について規定する。
  データの解析に用いる手順は,暴露材料の特性を判定する試験が破壊試験であるか又は非破壊試験であ
るかに関係する。暴露は,特定の暴露試験規格に規定する条件によって行う。
2. 引用規格 次に掲げる規格は,この規格に引用されることによって,この規格の規定の一部を構成す
る。これらの引用規格のうちで,発効年(又は発行年)を付記してあるものは,記載の年の版だけがこの
規格の規定を構成するものであって,その後の改正版・追補には適用しない。発効年(又は発行年)を付
記していない引用規格は,その最新版(追補を含む)を適用する。

    備考 上記のリストがすべてを網羅しているのではなく,他の標準的な特性試験方法が適切な場合も
          ある(5.1参照)。
3. 定義 この規格で用いる主な用語の定義は,次による。
3.1   コントロール (control) 試験材料と類似の組成と構造をもち,比較のために試験材料と同時に暴露
される材料。
3.2   保存試験片 (file specimen) 試験材料の一部分で,材料が安定な状態の中で保存し,暴露前後の状態
を比較するために用いられる。
3.3   マスキング部分 (masked area) 暴露試験片の一部分で,マスキングによって露光から保護される部
分。しかし,熱及び湿気からは保護されない。
3.4   試験片 (test specimen) 材料の特定の一部分で,暴露試験を実施するもの。
3.5   繰返し試験片 (replicate specimens) 評価する試験材料から採った同質の材料片で,すべて同時に暴
露し,状態調節し,試験を行うもの。
4. 色変化又はその他の外観特性の変化の測定方法
4.1   色変化
4.1.1  原理 特定の暴露試験規格(2.参照)に従って暴露したプラスチック試験片の色変化は,次の方法
の一つによって測定する。
a) 機器測定による方法
b) 色票を用いる目視評価
4.1.2  装置
4.1.2.1  JIS Z 8722に規定する要求事項によって,色又は色変化を測定する機器。
4.1.2.2  JIS L 0804及びJIS L 0805の規定によって色変化を評価するグレースケール(この規格の附属書
Bも参照)。この色票では,1号が最大の色差に相当し,5号が色差0(この場合,二つの色は等しい)に
相当する。
    備考 JIS L 0804の変退色用グレースケールは,比較的あざやかな色又は濃い色調の退色の程度を評
          価するのに適している。JIS L 0805の白に近いグレースケールは,変退色,例えば,黄変又は
          白若しくは白に近い試験片の評価に適している場合もある。
4.1.3  試験片 試験用及びコントロール用材料の試験片は,用いる特定の暴露方法に関する規格の要求事
項に適合するものとする(2.参照)。可能な場合には,耐候性の諸特性が知られているコントロール材料を,
同時に暴露試験する。特に規定がない場合には,暴露する各材料について,少なくとも3個の繰返し試験
片を用いる。
4.1.4  手順
4.1.4.1  一般事項 色変化の評価及び何らかの表面洗浄に用いる特定の手順は,受渡当事者間で協定し,
試験報告書に記載する。関連する規格の規定によって色変化を求める。
    備考1. 一般的に,色変化は,暴露によって生じる色変化の程度を評価するために,一連の暴露ステ
            ージで測定される。また,あらかじめ決めた又は規定した暴露段階で色変化を決定する場合
            もある。暗反応の影響を最小にするために,試験片を暴露状態から取り外した後は,できる
            だけ速やかに色測定又は目視評価を行う必要がある。
