オーバーライトの測定方法

Method for measuring overwrite
F.1 Readings shall be taken with a frequency-selective voltmeter centred on 62,5 kHz with a bandwidth of 1 kHz to 5 kHz at 300 r/min, 125 kHz with a bandwidth of 3 kHz to 5 kHz at 600 r/min.
F.2 Insert the Reference FDC into the test drive, load the heads on Cylinder 00 and run the drive for at least 3 min.
F.3 Erase Track 00 on Side 0, then record at 1 f for one revolution on Track 00 using the Test Recording Current.
NOTE — a.c. erasure is preferred but not mandatory.
F.4 Read back and note the signal amplitude averaged over an integral number of revolutions.
F.5 Overwrite with 2 f for one revolution.
