The associating of managed objects with a given role of a managed relationship.
3.8.2
binding support
The ability of a managed relationship to support the binding of managed objects, into a given role, during the existence of the managed relationship.

A refinement of a managed relationship class such that instances of the subclass may be substituted for instances of the superclass without affecting the function of a managing system.

managed relationship
A collection of managed objects together with an invariant referring to the properties of the managed objects.
