3 Definitions
For the purposes of this Recommendation ∣ International Standard, the definitions given in ITU-T Rec. T.411 ∣ ISO/IEC 8613-1 apply.

3.1
sampled sound
A sequence of digital values that represent instantaneous pressure of an auditory sensation taken at discrete intervals of time.
3.2
required duration
The time required to present the audio content information derived by the audio content layout process taking into account applicable presentation and coding attributes.
