A layer of rubber bonded to the surface of the core, providing the working face of the roller and protecting the core if necessary.

The end shaft on which a roller rotates.

A disc positioned on the journal.

Note 1 to entry: Flingers are intended to prevent liquid from the roller or the web from being carried outwards into the bearings or other parts of the machinery.

A temporary journal assembly necessary for the operation of roller covering.

Note 1 to entry: Dummy arbors/ends/heads are not intended for running purposes.

A roller end covered with rubber to protect the core.
